Hello!

Most of you may know me; I'm Jim Simmons, and I'll be answering questions regarding guns, gun ownership, possession, the concealed pistol law, transferring guns, and whatever else you may want to ask -- even if it has absolutely nothing to do with guns!

Feel free to post your questions; I'll try to check this space at least once a day, although there may be times I'm unavailable. I will answer questions as quickly as I can.

There aren't any special rules for posting in this forum, but The Shooters' Alliance For Firearms Rights (SAFR) and I reserve the right to remove any posts that might result in civil or criminal liability for SAFR, for me, or for anyone associated with SAFR.

A couple of things you should keep in mind when posting here: This is an open access message board. Anybody can register and read the postings here. So when you post, be safe and assume that your spouse, your mother, your preacher, the police, prosecutors, The Secretary of Homeland Defense, AND the guy you want to sue can also read what you say here. So don't say anything you want to keep confidential. If you want to talk to me privately, my address, e-mail address, telephone number and fax number are listed below.

If you do post something that I think could come back to hurt you, I may elect to remove it. If I do that, I'll lift the whole text and send it back to you in a private message or e-mail, along with my explanation why I did that. If you choose to re-post it, I won't remove it again. I'm not going to censor anyone; but I reserve the option to let you know if I think your post could hurt you.
